Top 5 iOS Business Apps in UAE for Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five business apps on iOS in the United Arab Emirates showcased interesting trends in weekly downloads and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers a detailed look at the metrics for UAE PASS, WhatsApp Business, Zoom Workplace, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet (original).

UAE PASS experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 15K and peaking at approximately 21K in the week of August 22. Active users saw a steady increase from about 148K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 168K by the end of September.

WhatsApp Business maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly numbers ranging from 7.5K to 9.8K. The app’s active users saw a rise from approximately 215K to around 235K over the quarter.

Zoom Workplace showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting from $330 in early August and reaching about $5.9K by the end of September. Downloads varied between 6.9K and 9.3K, while active users climbed from around 44K to over 50K.

Microsoft Teams witnessed an upward trend in downloads, peaking at approximately 11K in mid-September. Active users saw significant growth, starting from 203K and reaching about 358K by the end of the quarter.

Google Meet (original) had weekly downloads ranging between 4.8K and 6.9K. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting from around 15.6K and ending the quarter at about 17K.
